United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) and Pragati Life Insurance Limited (PLIL) signed an agreement recently at UCB Head Office to provide the convenience of insurance payments to customers using Upay, Digital Payment System of UCB. Upay is a product of UCB aimed to digitize the payment landscape of Bangladesh.
Mr. Mohammed Shawkat Jamil, Managing Director (Acting) of UCB and Mr. Jalalul Azim, Managing Director and CEO of Pragati Life Insurance Limited signed the agreement on behalf of respective organizations. With this partnership, both UCB and PLIL aim to provide mutually benefitted digital financial services to customers. Senior Officials from both the organizations were present at the signing ceremony.
