Mr. Adnan Masud possesses a plethora of expertise in corporate and investment banking, credit, transaction banking, Financial Institution (FI), and institutional banking, having worked in top-tier global banking institutions in Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, India, the United States, and Singapore for more than two decades. Prior to joining UCB as the Additional Managing Director (AMD), Mr. Adnan held a regional lead position for Global Corporate Coverage for Southeast Asia and India at BBVA Bank S.A., Singapore. In this capacity, he was instrumental in the expansion of business operations, the increase in revenue, and the promotion of strategic development. His extensive leadership experience includes senior positions at MUFG Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citibank, and Standard Chartered Bank. During his tenure, he successfully led corporate & investment banking and transaction banking teams, managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios, and made a significant contribution to the financial sector in South East Asia.

Mr. Adnan is a Certified Credit Professional with a strong background in sustainable financing, structured trade finance, liquidity, and credit management. His profound comprehension of value, strategic vision, and leadership capabilities will be crucial in fortifying UCB's market position and fostering future expansion. In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the banking industry in Asia, Mr. Masud has received numerous accolades over the years. The foundation for his successful career in banking and finance was established by his strong academic background, which was supplemented by trainings from NUS, MIT Management School, Columbia Business School, and Tuck Business School.
