Mr. Abul Alam Ferdous

Prominent Banker Mr. Abul Alam Ferdous has been serving as Additional Managing Director of United Commercial Bank PLC since 14 May 2018. Before becoming the Deputy Managing Director, he was serving the bank as Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Principal branch.
Mr. Ferdous started his career as ˜Probationary Officer' in United Commercial Bank PLC in 1984. He has held different banking positions in the arena of General Banking, Foreign Exchange, Credit etc including 22 years of managerial responsibilities.
An esteemed figure in banking industry, Mr. Ferdous completed his Bcom (Honors) in Accounting and Mcom from Chittagong University.
He participated in various trainings, workshops and seminars in home and abroad.
